Earmor M51 Tactical PTT is a push-to-talk interface designed and manufactured by Earmor between active hearing protectors and a radio. It allows communication without having to take the radio out of your pocket or equipment. The PTT unit connects to the headset with a NATO standard Nexus TP-120 connector and to the radio with a model-specific connector.
The M51 PTT is compatible with military and tactical headsets that use the NATO-standard Nexus TP-120 connector. The lightweight yet durable design features a large PTT button that is easy to find and use even with gloves on. A steel clip allows the unit to be attached to a vest or belt, and a rubber coating on the inside of the clip protects equipment from wear and tear.
The unit also has a 3.5 mm mini-jack connection, which allows you to connect the separately available Earmor M50 finger button.
The Earmor M51 Tactical PTT works as a communication solution not only with Earmor's own hearing protectors but also with devices from other compatible manufacturers. Please note that the most common compatibility issue is due to the different internal wiring of the PTT and the Nexus TP-120 headset connector.
