Sniper Trigger Units & Internal Parts
The trigger unit is one of the most critical and heavily stressed components in a spring-powered airsoft sniper rifle. It holds the piston in place after the rifle is cocked and releases it when the trigger is pulled, controlling the entire firing cycle.
When the bolt is pulled back, the piston locks into the sear mechanism inside the trigger unit. Pulling the trigger releases the piston, allowing the compressed spring to drive it forward inside the cylinder and propel the BB through the barrel. The design of the trigger unit and sear engagement directly affects trigger feel, shot consistency and durability.
Stronger upgrade springs place significantly higher stress on the trigger mechanism. For this reason, many upgrade trigger units are manufactured from hardened steel or CNC-machined components to ensure reliability and long service life. Reinforced trigger assemblies are often a key part of building a high-performance bolt-action sniper rifle.
Some systems also use 90-degree trigger units, which change the angle at which the piston is held. This design improves durability and reduces wear when using stronger springs.
In this category you will find trigger units and internal components for spring-powered airsoft sniper rifles, compatible with popular platforms such as:
Tokyo Marui VSR-10
L96 / AWS
