AGM's MG42 (AGM042) airsoft gun is modeled after the MG-42 (German: Maschinengewehr 1942 ) machine gun, which is a German air-cooled light machine gun from World War II with a roller shutter mechanism. The massive airsoft model is made of all metal, with a wooden stock. The "Hitler's saw" mechanism is two-part and equipped with steel gears and bearings. The mechanism has a quick-change spring mechanism. The 2500-round drum magazine that comes with the gun runs on four AA batteries.
