Arcturus Vanguard 5" Hi-Capa GBB Pistol

The Arcturus Vanguard 5" Hi-Capa Optics Ready & ARS-1 is a green gas-powered GBB pistol package based on the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa standard and designed to provide a balanced combination of performance, durability, and upgradeability. In this version, the pistol features an Optics Ready slide and comes bundled with the Arcturus ARS-1 red dot sight. This means the user receives both the pistol and optic in one package, and the sight can be mounted directly using the included mounting plate.

The pistol features a CNC-machined metal slide with a fiber-optic front sight. A RIS rail under the frame allows the attachment of accessories such as a weapon light or laser.

The controls are designed for ambidextrous use. A dual-sided safety, steel slide stop, and reversible magazine release make the pistol practical for both right- and left-handed users. The grip is made from reinforced nylon fiber polymer and its textured surface provides a secure hold.

Internally, the pistol uses several MIM-manufactured steel components that are treated with the QPQ process to improve durability and long-term reliability. The pistol is equipped with a 6.03 mm carbon steel inner barrel treated with the ENT nitriding process to increase wear resistance and ensure consistent performance.

The gas system is designed to be efficient and well-sealed, allowing good gas efficiency and stable operation even in cooler conditions. According to the manufacturer, the pistol achieves over 70% hit accuracy on a 30 × 30 cm target at a distance of 30 meters, and more than 60 shots can be fired on a single gas fill.

The magazine feed lips, follower, and base plate are made from durable SEFP polymer (Super Enhanced Formulated Polymer), which improves impact resistance and extends service life.
