Ares MSR-WR Takedown Sniper Rifle - Black

The MSR-WR is a high-quality spring-loaded precision rifle for airsoft use manufactured by Ares. The weapon has an aluminum CNC-machined upper and lower frame. The upper frame has an integrated picatinny rail for optics. The molded M4-style pistol grip is made of durable polymer. The buttstock is adjustable in length to four positions and the cheekpiece is adjustable in height, so you can definitely adjust the aiming position to suit yourself. The buttplate is made of non-slip rubber. The buttstock also has an RIS rail for a monopod. The massive outer barrel is made of CNC machined metal and is attached to the weapon frame with a sturdy metal nut. The barrel can be removed or attached to the weapon frame in a few seconds. The adjustable metal bobods are also quick to remove and install on the weapon. The entire weapon is absolutely sturdy and all parts are adjusted to fit together perfectly. The weapon can be disassembled into five different parts and reassembled back into firing condition in a minute without tools.

The piston and spring guide of the gun are the same as in the Ares Amoeba Striker and the spring is of the AEG model, i.e. the same as in electric guns. As is known from the Ares Amoeba Striker, the MSR-WR is also short-stroked, relatively lightly cocked. The inner barrel and recoil rubber are of the VSR-10 model.

The gun is delivered in a very compact hard carrying case measuring approx. 45 x 33 x 17 cm, with shaped places for each part separately. The gun and the case weigh approx. 6 kg.
