Cyma CGS Colt N23 GBBR Rifle - Black

The Cyma CGS Colt N23 is a gas-powered GBBR rifle based on the CAR-15 N-23 concept, representing one of the most compact AR platform designs ever developed. This ultra-short, PDW-style replica is built for close-quarters environments where mobility and fast handling matter most.

Developed in cooperation between CYMA and CyberGun, the replica offers a faithful interpretation of this unconventional AR variant. It is part of the Lightning Series, featuring a lightweight aluminum bolt carrier and an optimized recoil system that deliver fast cycling and excellent responsiveness. At its core is the CYMA CGS gas system, developed with T8 and based on the TM MWS platform, providing realistic blowback and broad compatibility with aftermarket upgrade parts.

The construction combines an aluminum receiver with polymer external components and steel parts in high-wear areas. A classic carry handle upper preserves the retro look, while the overall setup includes a shortened CAR-15 style handguard, an A1 pistol grip, and a compact adjustable stock mounted on a metal buffer tube. The 7.5” outer barrel keeps the platform extremely compact and easy to handle in tight spaces.

Internally, the rifle features an adjustable trigger mechanism and multiple steel components such as the trigger group, hammer, bolt catch, and magazine release to improve durability. The lightweight bolt carrier reduces cycle time and enhances recoil response, while the polymer buffer smooths out operation for better overall handling.

The CAR-15 N-23 concept originates from experimental Colt designs aimed at creating an ultra-compact AR platform for vehicle crews, pilots, and operators working in confined environments. Although never mass-produced, it represents an extreme evolution of the AR platform focused on maximum compactness while maintaining familiar AR ergonomics.
