Cyma CM040 GEN2 AEG Rifle

The CYMA CM040 GEN2 is a Standard Series AKS-74-style airsoft AEG rifle that combines a steel construction, classic AK styling, and the upgraded GEN2 drivetrain. Equipped with the CYMA V3 MOSFET, a quick spring change gearbox, and reinforced internal components, it offers fast trigger response, smooth operation, and excellent upgrade potential for both new and experienced players.

The CYMA Standard Series is designed to provide realistic construction, dependable performance, and broad compatibility with aftermarket upgrade parts. The CM040 features a steel receiver and metal external components for a solid, realistic feel, while the left-side folding steel stock improves portability and maneuverability without compromising shooting stability. The polymer handguard and pistol grip replicate the appearance and handling of the original AKS-74.

Internally, the rifle is built around a GEN2 Version 3 gearbox featuring 8 mm steel ball bearings, a full steel rack piston, a high-torque motor with neodymium magnets, and a quick spring change system. The CYMA V3 MOSFET improves trigger response, stabilizes the electrical system, and enhances overall reliability. The TM-compatible platform also provides excellent compatibility with aftermarket upgrade parts.

A 500 mm 6.05 mm brass inner barrel and adjustable metal AK-style hop-up chamber provide consistent BB flight and reliable accuracy at medium and long engagement distances. The 14 mm CCW muzzle thread allows the installation of compatible suppressors and other muzzle devices.

The battery is housed beneath the top cover. The rifle uses a Deans (T-Plug) connector and is compatible with both 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries.
