The CYMA CM048S GEN2 is an AKMS-style airsoft AEG rifle that combines a classic underfolding stock, real wood furniture, and updated GEN2 internals. The rifle replicates the iconic AKMS and features a steel underfolding stock. The receiver, dust cover, gas tube, flash hider, and stock are made from steel, while the handguards are crafted from laminated wood for an authentic appearance. The pistol grip is made from durable nylon, and each rifle carries an individual serial number on the receiver.

The CM048S GEN2 is built around an upgraded V3 gearbox equipped with a quick spring change system, 8 mm ball bearings, a piston with a full metal tooth rack, and a bearing spring guide. Power is delivered by a high-torque motor with neodymium magnets. Combined with the CYMA V3 MOSFET system, this provides improved trigger response and smoother operation.

A 455 mm brass inner barrel with a 6.04 mm bore and a metal AK-style hop-up chamber help deliver consistent performance and effective range. The barrel is fitted with a 14 mm CCW thread for suppressors, tracer units, and other compatible muzzle devices. The battery is housed beneath the dust cover and connects via a DEANS (T-Plug) connector.
