Direct Action BEARCAT Ultralight Plate Carrier

The Direct Action BEARCAT Ultralight Plate Carrier is an extremely lightweight and compact body armor designed for the modern combatant. Its lightweight design reduces the load on the body and allows weight to be transferred to more important equipment. The BEARCAT is also the starting point for Direct Action's new ultralight equipment system.

The BEARCAT Plate Carrier is made of durable yet lightweight softshell fabric and features a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS system that supports versatile attachment of pouches and accessories. Laminate has been used only where necessary to keep the vest as light as possible without compromising functionality.

The non-stretch yet flexible construction allows for the use of various shaped protective plates – such as SAPI and Swimmer Cut plates. The sides of the front panel and shoulder straps have elastic loops for managing cables, antennas or hydration hoses.

The BEARCAT is compatible with many SPITFIRE series accessories, including the CUTAWAY quick release system, Comfort Pads and chest rig attachment buckles. The back panel zipper system is compatible with the Crye Precision AVS™ standard.
