Duct tape, more commonly known as duct tape, is one of humanity's greatest inventions. It serves as a repair tool, a first aid kit, a building material, a sealant, a binding tool, and even tape! Originally developed by the United States military to seal ammunition boxes to make them waterproof, its versatility soon became apparent to everyone, and thus the legend of the miracle tape was born. It has also been used during several NASA space flights as an emergency aid, perhaps most famously to repair the carbon dioxide filter on the ill-fated Apollo 13 lunar mission.

The tape is practically a fiber strip covered with a durable surface material and a rubber-based adhesive. The tape has a high tensile strength, but it can still be broken very easily by tearing it sideways. The tape can also be used to write necessary markings on the surface with a marker.
