EpeS AEG Cylinder Head V2/3 - Short

The EpeS AEG Cylinder Head V2/3 Short is a premium cylinder head designed specifically for electric guns with short nozzles (less than 20 mm), such as the EVO III ASG. The short nozzle tube and improved nozzle plate movement allow for a tighter seal between the nozzle and the hop-up rubber, improving feed reliability and reducing feed problems.

The cylinder head has a short nozzle guide rod, optimized for nozzles under 20 mm long, and the nozzle pilot diameter is standard at 5.35 mm (Extra Fit 5.40 mm available, which reduces nozzle side-to-side swing). The nozzle plate stop surface has been moved back, which increases the stroke of the nozzle plate. This allows the use of a nozzle up to 1 mm longer, which improves the nozzle fit on the hop-up rubber lip and at the same time eliminates feeding problems without compromising tightness.

The cylinder head is mounted with a unique solution: two M3 screws tightened from the front allow for a tight and adjustable fit on most V2 and V3 gearboxes (default position optimized for RetroArms). This prevents loose cylinder head mounting that would cause nozzle wobble and performance fluctuations.

The impact pads are made of PU rubber and are available in three hardnesses: 70 sh (for springs up to SP130), 80 sh (for springs up to SP160) and 90 sh (for springs up to SP170). The pad is 3 mm thick and its impact surface is maximized. When shooting long series (100+ bullets), a pad one degree softer is often recommended. The cylinder head is also available without the impact pad, allowing alternative PU or Sorbo pads to be used for AOE adjustment.

The cylinder head is made of EN AW-7075-T6 aircraft aluminum and its H+PTFE coating ensures excellent sliding properties and wear resistance. The O-rings are made of NBR 70 sh material. Made in the Czech Republic.
