The EpeS AEG Cylinder Head V2/3 Standard is a premium cylinder head designed specifically for mid-length (20-24mm) muzzle assemblies such as AK, AR15 and similar systems. The mid-length muzzle tube and improved muzzle plate movement allow for a tighter seal between the muzzle and hop-up rubber, improving feed reliability and reducing mid-cap syndrome.

The EpeS V2/3 Standard combines a unique design solution and top-class materials to provide a new standard in quality and performance. The cylinder head features a medium length nozzle guide rod, optimized for nozzle lengths of 20–24 mm. The nozzle guide rod has a standard diameter of 5.35 mm; an Extra Fit version with a diameter of 5.40 mm is also available, which reduces nozzle wobble.

The innovative design of the cylinder head allows for a longer tappet plate travel compared to traditional cylinder heads; this allows for the use of a nozzle up to 1 mm longer, providing a tighter fit between the nozzle and the lip of the hop-up rubber in a firing situation, while also eliminating potential feeding issues.

The cylinder head is mounted with a unique solution: two M3 screws tightened from the front allow for a tight and adjustable fit on most V2 and V3 gearboxes (default position optimized for RetroArms). This prevents loose cylinder head mounting that would cause nozzle wobble and performance fluctuations.

The impact pads are made of PU rubber and are available in three hardnesses: 70 sh (for springs up to SP130), 80 sh (for springs up to SP160) and 90 sh (for springs up to SP170). The pad is 3 mm thick and its impact surface is maximized. When shooting long series (100+ bullets), a pad one degree softer is often recommended. The cylinder head is also available without the impact pad, allowing alternative PU or Sorbo pads to be used for AOE adjustment.

The cylinder head is made of EN AW-7075-T6 aircraft aluminum and its H+PTFE coating ensures excellent sliding properties and wear resistance. The O-rings are made of NBR 70 sh material. Made in the Czech Republic.
