High-quality and revolutionary EPeS MK.II cylinder head with two O-rings for Ver 2 and 3 gearboxes manufactured by EPeS Airsoft.
The unique mounting system allows the cylinder head to be secured to the gearbox and prevents unwanted movement during firing. The innovative design allows for a longer stroke of the nozzle plate, ensuring maximum performance and reliability.
Uncompromising quality and H+PTFE surface treatment guarantee perfectly smooth surfaces, enabling maximum smooth operation of the nozzle and ensuring the longevity of the parts.
The shock absorber plate made of durable polyurethane improves airflow and provides maximum durability and shock absorption.
Specs:
- The medium-length nozzle stem is optimal for 20-22 mm nozzles (including AK / AR15)
- Improved nozzle plate travel allows for up to 1 mm longer nozzle for better seal between nozzle and hop
- Eliminates potential feeding problems while maintaining a perfect seal between the nozzle and the bouncer
- Unique mounting system allows the cylinder head to be mounted on the gearbox
- The holes in the alignment pins are designed to optimally fit, for example, RetroArms gear boxes.
- The rubber damping plate is made of polyurethane rubber (PU) with a hardness of 70 SH
- 70 sh hardness class is designed for springs with a maximum power of M130
- For weapons with a high rate of fire and large bullet capacity (e.g. machine guns), a spring with a maximum power of M120 in a 70 sh hardness class is recommended.
- Compared to the Mk.I version, the Mk.II version has added H+PTFE surface treatment, a longer nozzle stem, fine-tuned nozzle stem diameter and a revised damping plate design to improve efficiency
- Made from EN AW 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum with an H+PTFE surface treatment that ensures ideal sliding properties while maintaining high surface wear resistance
Improved nozzle plate stroke length
Compared to a standard cylinder head, the EPeS MK.II cylinder head allows for a longer stroke length of the nozzle plate. With a suitable nozzle plate that allows for a longer stroke length (e.g. SHS), it is possible to use a nozzle up to 1 mm longer. This is especially beneficial in VER2 gearboxes where the nozzle plate stroke length is shorter than in VER3 gearboxes.
In this case, for example, in AR15-type replicas, you can use a 22 mm long nozzle, which provides a better seal between the nozzle and the lips of the rubber. A longer nozzle also helps to improve bullet feed in problematic cases, thus solving the eternal dilemma: "A longer nozzle provides better seal, but the gun does not feed the bullets as reliably or does not feed them at all. A shorter nozzle feeds reliably, but the performance and power are reduced." With the EPeS airsoft Mk.II cylinder head, you no longer have to make compromises. Instead, you can choose both options: high performance and reliable bullet feed.
Unique mounting system for installing the cylinder head
The EPeS airsoft Mk.II cylinder head is attached to the gear box with two mounting screws. The screws are installed on the front of the cylinder head. This way, the cylinder head can always be installed neatly and tightly inside the gear box without any play. This ensures trouble-free operation without loss of performance/power or other common problems that lead to premature wear of parts. A cylinder head that fits loosely inside the gear box allows the nozzle to wobble too much. This causes many problems, including loss of power and throwing, as well as feeding problems. In addition, the contact between the cylinder head and the piston head shock rubber pads is uneven, which can damage the piston head or the piston itself.
Installing the cylinder head is easy. Tightening and loosening the hex screws adjusts the clearance between the cylinder head and the gear box and ensures a snug fit. Note! It is a good idea to secure the hex screws with a screw lock to prevent the screws from loosening when firing.
