GATE PicoSSR 3 MOSFET unit

GATE PicoSSR 3 is one of the smallest MOSFET units on the market for electric airsoft guns. This third-generation MOSFET is designed for AEG replicas where space is extremely limited but the advantages of MOSFET technology are still desired. The unit measures only 4 × 6 × 21 mm, allowing it to fit easily into almost any AEG replica, even those with very limited space for electronics.

PicoSSR 3 is an updated version of the earlier PicoSSR circuit. Its mechanical and electronic properties have been significantly improved compared to its predecessor, making it a more reliable and durable solution for both standard replicas and heavily upgraded builds. The MOSFET directs current straight from the battery to the motor, significantly reducing the current passing through the mechanical trigger contacts. This minimizes power loss, improves the efficiency of the electrical system and extends the lifespan of the trigger contacts.

Thanks to the MOSFET circuit, the burning of switch contacts is greatly reduced, which is a common issue especially when using higher-voltage LiPo batteries. At the same time, the replica often benefits from a slightly higher rate of fire and faster trigger response. PicoSSR 3 is well suited both for maintenance and repair use as well as for upgrade projects where the goal is to improve the reliability of the electrical system without major modifications.

PicoSSR 3 is also highly durable. Thanks to its extremely compact size, it is an excellent choice for replicas where a traditional MOSFET unit simply does not fit.
