Gerber Defender Tether Large Retractable Gear Tether

The Gerber Defender Tether Large is designed to keep your keys, tools and other essentials safely with you and always within reach. It features a durable 122 cm long Dyneema cord that can handle even the heaviest tools. The yo-yo is equipped with an ingenious release/stop mechanism that makes using the yo-yo smooth and quick. Tools are attached to the end of the yo-yo with a carabiner hook and the yo-yo is held in place with either a belt clip, cord or removable pin.

Defender Large is built with a patented side release lock that locks the attached tool in place. If the attached tool gets caught on a branch or falls into flowing water, for example, the bypass feature will be activated to protect the belt from damage. The product material is corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum.
