Helikon-Tex Ambush Backpack - Cordura

Helikon-Tex Ambush Backpack – Cordura is a compact and practical combat backpack for field and combat operations, when you need to carry a reasonable amount of equipment without the backpack becoming too large. The total capacity of 22.8 liters is enough for several hours of operation: water, food, an extra layer of clothing and mission-specific supplies can be carried in a controlled manner. The backpack is made of durable Cordura® 500D material and is part of Helikon-Tex's modular Guardian system, but it also works equally well as a “Grab & Go” type daypack.

The Ambush backpack is clearly designed with military and official logic in mind: the front pocket on the top has a Velcro surface for badges on the outside and a soft velour lining on the inside, so optics or night vision devices can be stored safely without a separate pouch. The bottom pocket is suitable for smaller accessories and the most important things that can be grabbed quickly can be organized sensibly. The backpack's beavertail pocket adds load-bearing capacity without expanding the main body - you can attach a helmet, camouflage net or additional clothing to it, for example, and if necessary, the beavertail can be rolled up and hidden in a flat compartment at the bottom of the backpack.

The side pockets are sized to hold water bottles or similar sized loads, and the MOLLE/PALS compatible attachment points allow for additional pockets. There is a separate compartment on the inside for a hydration bladder, so the backpack also works well on the move. The included waist strap and quick release harness make carrying more comfortable and taking off the backpack quickly when you really need it.
