Helikon-Tex Guardian Admin Pouch - Field (NIR/IRR) - PL Woodland

The Helikon-Tex Guardian Admin Pouch - Field (NIR/IRR) is an administrative pouch for a phone and maps in field use. It comes in PL Woodland camouflage with NIR/IRR properties.

According to the manufacturer, the interior is designed to hold a phone and maps. A hook & loop adapter secures a communications phone, and transparent sleeves hold maps and notes. A flat pocket carries additional accessories such as a small notebook or compass, and an elastic loop holds a marker. The pouch mounts easily with the MOLLE/PALS system.

Field products in PL Woodland provide NIR (Near Infrared) functionality, also referred to as IRR (Infrared Reflective). According to the manufacturer, the materials help reduce the contrast of the wearer's silhouette when viewed through devices operating in the near-infrared spectrum. All visible fabrics and components are selected to absorb, reflect and transmit radiation in a way that closely resembles the natural environment, in this case woodland terrain. The materials are tested in the laboratory and in the field using a spectrophotometer and analog night-vision devices.
