Helikon-Tex Guardian Plate Carrier - Field (NIR/IRR) - PL Woodland

The Helikon-Tex Guardian Plate Carrier – Field (NIR/IRR) is a tactical vest designed to carry ballistic plates. The NIR/IRR feature effectively masks the wearer on night vision.

Field products in PL Woodland camouflage provide NIR (Near Infrared) functionality, also referred to as IRR (Infrared Reflective). The materials used help reduce the contrast of the wearer's silhouette when viewed through devices operating in the near-infrared spectrum. All visible fabrics and components are selected to absorb, reflect and transmit radiation in a way that closely resembles the natural environment, woodland terrain. Each material is tested under both laboratory and field conditions using a spectrophotometer and analog night-vision devices.

Construction resistant to intensive use: Cordura® 500D increases resistance to abrasion and demanding field use. The fabric is coated with a DWR finish that reduces moisture absorption and makes cleaning easier. Woojin® buckles operate reliably even under heavy loads and across a wide temperature range.

Compatible with different plate types: the elastic internal panel allows stable placement of plates with various shapes and thicknesses. The plate carrier works with E-Cut (SAPI/ESAPI), Swimmer Cut and Shooter Cut plates in sizes M (31.8 × 24.1 cm) and L (33.7 × 26 cm). Before purchasing, we recommend measuring your ballistic plates to select the correct vest size.

Modular design allows individual configuration expansion: MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing allows pouches and panels to be attached without interfering with the carrier's structure. The vest is compatible with Helikon-Tex's VIS and Competition systems. Inside there is an internal front pocket with hook-and-loop closure for small but essential items, the front has buckle-fastened covered flaps, the back has an evacuation handle, and the front and back have hook-and-loop panels for logos.

Note: the vest does not come with cummerbunds or a buckle-attached equipment panel.
