The Helikon-Tex Raid Shirt is a modern field shirt that combines traditional and contemporary design. This field shirt is designed specifically for operators for patrol or urban use and works great with UTP, SFU Mk2, or BDU Mk2 trousers.
The shirt's PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop material (48% cotton, 50% polyester, 2% elastane) gives it a bit of stretch and offers better freedom of movement. The shirt also has a Raglan-style construction, where the sleeves are sewn straight to the collar and do not have a separate shoulder seam. Raglan sleeves move seamlessly with the body, making them particularly suitable for active use and situations where heavy equipment or protective vests are used. The Raglan construction means that the Raid Shirt does not pinch when worn under a vest.
The Raid Shirt has a total of eight pockets with loops for attaching equipment. Two classic button-fastening pockets sewn diagonally to the chest. Two mesh pockets inside the shirt: one with a zipper and one open at chest height for a map or notebook. Just open one button and you have access to the pocket.
In addition, there are two diagonally placed pockets on the shoulders with two fastening options. The comfortable fastening with two small Velcro fasteners can be covered if necessary and buttons can be used. The zippered shoulder pockets also have two open smaller pockets for small items, such as a compass. Next to them is a narrow compartment for a pen or pencil.
