Helikon-Tex Ratel Mk2 Backpack - Cordura

The Ratel Mk2 is a versatile tactical backpack for patrols, short missions and everyday use. The compact size, minimalist design and practical layout suit the field and the city alike.

The ergonomic carrying system stabilises the load: contoured, adjustable quick-release shoulder straps, a sternum strap for stability on the move and a removable hip belt that helps distribute weight under a heavier load. A spacer mesh back panel improves airflow. The pack can also be carried by hand or on one shoulder.

The main compartment has a sleeve for a hydration bladder. The front has two pockets: the upper one for small items that stay within reach, the lower one with an organiser for maps, documents and EDC accessories. MOLLE/PALS webbing takes pouches and modules, for example a first aid kit, and compression straps reduce the volume when the pack is not full and can hold extra gear such as a sleeping pad. The material is Cordura® 500D with a DWR coating, with YKK® zippers and Woojin® components.
