Helikon-Tex Scout Mk2 - a reliable map compass for demanding navigation
Helikon-Tex Scout Mk2 is a traditional liquid-filled map compass that is ideal for hiking, camping and survival situations. GPS can be unreliable, but a traditional map and compass are reliable tools for determining direction.
The transparent acrylic body makes the compass perfect for map use, and its scale is divided into one degree increments, allowing for accurate direction finding. The edge of the measuring plate has both inch and centimeter rulers, as well as scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which support accurate map reading and distance estimation. The compass is supplied with a red lanyard.
