Helikon-Tex UTS 6" Shorts - PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop

Helikon-Tex UTS 6" (Urban Tactical Shorts) are designed for hot conditions when full-length tactical pants feel excessive but functionality is still required. The model is based on the popular UTP pants and brings their structure and pocket layout into a shorter version with a 6-inch inseam.

UTS 6" is a compromise between civilian and tactical shorts. The cut is discreet and suitable for urban use, the shooting range, hiking, and everyday wear, while the construction and pocket system clearly support tactical applications as well. The ten pockets are arranged so that most of the equipment sits around the hips and waist without making the shorts bulky. Pocket edges are reinforced, so clip-on tools and other hard-edged gear won’t wear through the fabric after the first week of use.

The waistband features hook & loop adjustment for fit, and wide belt loops allow the use of a sturdier belt. The main material is PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop (50% polyester, 48% cotton, 2% elastane), combining durability, breathability, and two-way stretch. The 220 g/m² fabric weight makes the shorts robust enough for demanding use while remaining comfortable in warm weather. YKK components are used in the zippers.

The shorts are best suited for temperatures between approximately +10°C and +40°C and are designed for active movement.
