Helikon-Tex Urban Tactical Shorts are a great choice when the operator needs to look civilian but at the same time be tactically cool in sweltering heat. In terms of cut, design and pocket placement, the UTS® shorts are the same as the long-leg UTP® (Urban Tactical Pants), but with a shorter 8.5' leg. These comfortable and relaxed shorts are designed specifically for law enforcement and field work, but are also perfect for leisure time.

Low-profile and precisely placed pockets combined with durable and elastic PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop fabric make these pants an excellent choice for even the most demanding user. Due to the thoughtful placement of the pockets, equipment can be placed ergonomically close to the center of the body, around the hips and waist. The edges of the front and back pockets are reinforced to withstand the constant movement of flashlight or knife clips. Two front pockets with Velcro closure are large enough for a smartphone or even an AR magazine. The zippered thigh pockets look flat - but their design allows you to easily carry a wallet, etc. These shorts with a movement-conscious cut and fabric have a zippered hem combined with an elastic and adjustable Velcro fastener. Large (50 mm) belt loops allow for wide belts, such as EDC, UTL® or Cobra®. In addition, the denim-like cut keeps the shorts in place even when going hard.
