Helikon-Tex Winter Warden Shirt

The Helikon-Tex Winter Warden Shirt is a winter bushcraft shirt with shoulder protection and insulation that keeps warmth even when wet. It retains the timeless character of plaid technical clothing, but it is designed as a practical layer for bushcraft and outdoor use.

The shirt uses lightweight 60 g/m² synthetic insulation. It provides thermal comfort on colder days and, unlike many natural insulating materials, retains its properties even when damp. It is lightweight, compresses well and does not restrict freedom of movement during field activities. The outer layer is made from modern synthetic materials that handle moisture well and dry much faster than classic cotton, so the shirt performs better in changing weather, around camp and on multi-day trips.

An additional layer of VersaStretch fabric in the shoulder area prevents excessive moisture absorption and abrasion from a backpack. The hook-and-loop cuffs can be rolled up or adjusted to the wrists or gloves to retain warmth. The durable snaps are a quick and convenient closure that matches the classic bushcraft character of the shirt.

The shirt has 7 functional pockets for basic field gear: two snap-fastened chest pockets for small accessories, two large side pockets with a soft fleece lining for warming your hands, a flat Napoleon pocket with a YKK® zipper for a phone, wallet or documents (with an internal loop for keys or a compass), and two spacious zippered internal mesh pockets for EDC items, or for drying and warming gloves and a hat.
