Jetboil Flash 1.0L

The Jetboil Flash 1.0L is an easy-to-use and super-fast all-in-one camping stove, made for situations where you want coffee, tea or hot food quickly without having to adjust with separate parts. All parts pack together in the same package, and a 100g gas cartridge can still fit inside the stove with the other parts. This makes the Flash an especially good choice for day trips, fishing, hunting trips, shooting ranges, motorcycle trips and just basic cabin and car camping, when you want a compact set that works and travels neatly.

Operation is made easy: the burner is attached to the cup, the gas is screwed into place and the piezo ignites the flame by turning the switch. The same control controls the flame intensity, so the Flash works reasonably even when you don't want a full-blown flame all the time. The burner part has rubber-coated edges that make handling easier and provide more safety in use. The patented, wind-protected FluxRing base transfers heat efficiently and evenly to the cooking vessel, and with a power of 5300 BTU (1.5 kW), 0.5 liters of water boils in about two minutes. In practice, this means that morning coffee or bagged food is not a "waiting forever" project, but the job is done quickly.

The 1.0 liter cooking pot also doubles as a drinking cup, and the neoprene insulation sleeve makes it safer to handle and helps keep the heat in. The sleeve has heat indicator stripes that change color when the water is boiling, so you don't have to guess when it's ready. There are measuring lines inside the pot, which makes it easier to dispense and saves unnecessary splashing of water, and the bottom cover also works as a measuring cup or small bowl. Compatibility is also good: Jetboil uses a standard thread, so gas cartridges from most common manufacturers fit directly, but the best performance is achieved with Jetboil JetPower gases. For example, a 100 g JetPower cartridge can boil up to about 10 liters of water.
