Jetboil Pot Support

The Jetboil Pot Support is a foldable metal support that fits onto the Jetboil burner, and its purpose is simple: to make using pans and “normal pots” on the Jetboil cooker safer and possible. If you have been using the Jetboil mainly as a kettle with its own cup, the Pot Support is the part that really expands the set into cooking: frying pans, larger pots, stewing and turning food is more stable when the pot no longer rests on just a small burner ring. The support locks onto the bottom of the burner with flanges and folds up so that it fits inside the Jetboil cup for transport.

The Pot Support can be used with frying pans (like the Jetboil Summit Skillet / Frypan) and the 1.5L FluxRing pot, as well as many traditional camping pots and pans. It is compatible with most Jetboil systems, but not all: it does not work with the Genesis, HalfGen, Stash, or MightyMo models (or the Luna Satellite Burner). It is also worth noting that this support is not needed when using Jetboil's own FluxRing-based cup attached directly to the burner frame — that is the whole idea behind Jetboil.

Important practical note: this PSUP model comes standard with the MicroMo and MiniMo cookers, so if you have one of those, you may not need a separate Pot Support. And if you have a newer generation of cookers, the Flash or Zip, and you are specifically looking for “new generation” support for them, its code is PSPT2, not PSUP.
