The Krytac Barrett REC7 SBR SMG is a short-barreled SMG equipped with fully licensed BARRETT trademarks. Given its size, the gun is well suited for short and medium distances. The gun combines Krytac's solid engineering with BARRETT's innovative design. Durable materials, such as 6061-T6 aluminum and reinforced polymers, make the gun lightweight, yet highly durable, providing reliable performance in intensive airsoft play.

The gun's body is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, which ensures lightness and durability. The handguard is CNC-machined and anodized for durability. The gun has a 9.5-inch M-LOK rail system that allows for easy attachment of accessories such as bipods and optics. The folding spare sights are low-profile and conveniently located behind the sights. The gun's 6-position adjustable buttstock includes a good-sized space for the battery.

The mechanism features a Nautilus V2 gearbox with a quick spring change feature that allows you to change the spring without disassembling the gearbox. The gearbox is equipped with 8mm bearings and is fully compatible with common Version 2 tuning parts. The gun comes standard with a MOSFET, ball-bearing QD spring guide and a precisely adjustable rotary hop unit. The 30K high torque motor, equipped with neodymium magnets, provides reliable performance.

This version has a lighter spring that offers moderate power of about 1 joule. The weapon is well suited for indoor games with these powers. Otherwise, the weapon is mechanically the same as the corresponding models with 1.49 J powers, so the weapon can be made more powerful if necessary by simply changing the spring.
