The KWC Makarov PM is a replica of the basic military and police handgun introduced in the Soviet Union in 1951 in the 9 x 18mm caliber. The pistol was chosen to replace the earlier Tokarev due to its simplicity and relatively good stopping power. The Makarov remained in widespread use until the collapse of the Soviet Union (1991) and beyond. The pistol is therefore ideally suited to a variety of Soviet-era or Russian equipment configurations.

This airsoft version offers not only a realistic design but also a clean and stylish appearance and a pleasant user experience. The weight of the weapon is almost identical to the original, the real "Makarov" weighs 730 g, while this pellet gun weighs 710 g without a gas capsule. The weapon is made entirely of metal, only the brown handles are plastic. The 15-round magazine is made of metal. The weapon uses a traditional 12g CO2 capsule as its power source. After loading the magazine, the moving parts are pulled back, just like in a real gun. When firing, the effective Blowback recoil system moves the slide while loading a new bullet into the barrel. When all the bullets have been fired, the slide remains in the rear position, just like in a real firearm.

Hop-Up is adjustable from a lever on the side of the hop chamber, located under the slide and accessible by removing the slide from the lower frame.
