Light My Fire FireSteel BIO Army fire starters consist of two basic parts - a rod and a scratching plate, or spark iron. The rod is made of high-quality magnesium alloy. The spark iron is made of stainless steel and its edge grinding allows for maximum spark generation. When the spark iron is scratched against the rod, small metal shavings are created, which when ignited produce bright and high-temperature sparks.

How do I light a campfire with kindling?
- Gather small sticks, bark, and other dry kindling. Dryer and smaller kindling will ignite better.
- Arrange the kindling into a small pile.
- If necessary, you can scrape magnesium powder from the fire onto the kindling - it makes lighting easier.
- Quickly scratch the match with a sparking iron and aim the jet of sparks precisely at the kindling.
- Once the kindling has been ignited, the fire is slowly fed by steadily adding suitable dry material.
- Build the fire carefully, first with small sticks and then gradually increase its size
- Make sure the fire gets enough oxygen and be patient.
- Once the fire is burning properly, you can add more wood for a proper campfire.
