The Lowa Z-11S GTX is a high-shaft, light and stable field and hunting boot for long days in the terrain. It is the same boot known from demanding professional use, offered here as a hunting and hiking version. The high shaft supports the ankle on uneven ground and protects against moisture, snow and knocks. It suits rainy autumn days in a moose stand as well as multi-day trips.
The shaft is light, soft Cordura fabric and the lower part is 2.2 mm suede leather that withstands brush and rocks. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet dry and lets moisture out. The stable stride comes from the injection-moulded sole, lacing that runs far down and the MONOWRAP frame that wraps the foot. The cushioning midsole and padded removable insoles ease the stride under a full pack.

Z-11S GTX and Z-11S GTX C
This model has the same construction as the Z-11S GTX C (same last, shaft, sole and GORE-TEX). The difference is that this hunting model does not have the DIN EN ISO 20347 occupational footwear certification. If your employer requires certified work footwear, choose the C model. Lowa states the shaft height of the C model as 245 mm inside, 265 mm ISO and 275 mm outside.
Size chart
Lowa adds 15 mm of walking allowance to the foot length in its size recommendations, and it is already included in the sizes in the chart. Measure your foot standing on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the longest toe and measure the distance from the edge of the paper.
