Mil-Tec ECWCS jacket with removable fleece lining - black

The Mil-Tec Wet Weather ECWCS jacket with removable fleece lining is a versatile, waterproof and warm membrane jacket for year-round use. This high-quality jacket is suitable for use with a lining jacket for freezing weather and without lining as a mid-season and rain jacket.

The jacket's design is derived from the US Army's ECWCS field uniform. ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) is a clothing system developed by the US Army in the 1980s that effectively protects the wearer from cold and moisture.

This jacket has a Din-Tex membrane that effectively repels water and breathes. The jacket has been modified from the original Yankee jacket by changing the color to black and adding a removable lining.

The jacket opens in the middle of the front with a durable zipper, which is protected by a flap with snaps. The collar can be turned up and the jacket has an effective hood. There are ventilation holes with zippers in the armpits. There is a tightening, elastic snow guard at the waist. There is a badge slot on the chest that can be opened with a snap. The jacket has plenty of pockets, two snap-fastened hem pockets and two velcro-fastened chest pockets under the zipper flap, as well as a small pocket on the left upper arm.

The fleece lining jacket also works as a standalone jacket. The lining jacket is comfortable to wear, warm, and breathes well.

The jacket represents Mil-Tec's new improved Plus line. This jacket is also well suited for users who want the features of the ECWCS jacket but not the camouflage pattern.

The jacket's fabric is laminated with three layers: a nylon layer on top and bottom that protects the membrane, and the membrane itself is polyurethane. The waterproofness is 5000 mm according to DIN standard. Breathability is 500 g/m2/24 h.
