A handy string-like cleaning tool for cleaning the barrel and chamber of a gun. This model is suitable for 5.5/5.56/22/222/223 caliber guns.

The Mil-Tec Gun Rope cleaning tool consists of a weight, a string, a cleaning section with a bronze brush, and a separate loop for a cleaning cloth. This cleaning tool is used by dropping the weight into the chamber of the gun, letting it slide through the barrel, and then pulling the cleaning section from the weight and string through the barrel. The copper brush removes scale and dirt, and the subsequent cloth section wipes away the loosened dirt. Cleaning is ALWAYS done from the chamber side, not the muzzle. The transition cone of the chamber is resistant to wear, but the muzzle of the barrel may round and wear, which will reduce the accuracy of the gun.

Mil-Tec's version differs from other similar ones in that the bronze brush has a threaded piece that allows you to use a separate cleaning cloth or a traditional bridge at the end of the brush, or of course also the included "snake" or cleaning cord.

After use, the product can be rolled up into a small space, such as a pocket or a Scho-ka-Kola can! The tool can be washed (and should be from time to time) either by hand or in a washing bag in the washing machine.
