The outer flap of the main pocket is rubberized on the inside, so the contents stay dry better even in the rain. The pocket is MOLLE compatible, but is also suitable for attaching to a belt. A small loop is sewn into the PALS straps, from which the pocket can be carried separately in the hand, or pulled out more easily from the MOLLE channels, as long as the snaps are opened.
