Morakniv Garberg BlackBlade Knife – with versatile Multi-Mount system
The Morakniv Garberg BlackBlade Multi-Mount is designed for situations where maximum durability and versatility are required. It features a full tang construction, making it suitable for outdoor use, bushcraft, hunting, and survival scenarios where reliability is critical.
The blade runs through the entire handle, creating a strong and durable structure that can handle demanding tasks such as batoning, cutting branches, and general wood processing. The spine is ground for use with a ferro rod, allowing reliable fire starting in all conditions.
The blade is made from German C100S carbon steel and finished with a black DLC coating. The coating reduces reflections and provides added corrosion resistance. Carbon steel is easy to resharpen but requires basic maintenance such as drying and light oiling after use.
The Scandi grind offers a balanced combination of durability and cutting performance. It is well suited for precise work like carving, while still handling heavier tasks. The exposed tang at the rear allows for striking, scraping, and spark generation when needed.
The ergonomic polyamide handle provides a secure grip even in wet or cold conditions. A finger guard improves safety and control, while the handle shape supports multiple grip positions.
The included Multi-Mount system allows the knife to be attached to a wide range of gear. The MOLLE-compatible mounting system enables attachment to backpacks, belts, vehicles, or other equipment. It includes straps, hook-and-loop fasteners, rails, and mounting points for flexible setup. The symmetrical polymer sheath is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
