The Oakley SI Gibston XL is a larger version of the Gibston sunglass. The deeply curved, lightweight polymer frame fits snugly against the face and protects the eyes from sunlight and debris from the sides. The low-density polymer keeps the weight down, and the temples work with headwear.

The optical polycarbonate Prizm Grey lenses eliminate distortion across the entire field of view and improve contrast. Light transmission is 17%, suited to bright sunlight. The lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nm.
