The Peltonen Sissipuukko M07 is a Finnish knife designed for hard use, while maintaining the simplicity and functionality of a traditional knife. In the Naku version, the blade is left uncoated, which emphasizes the knife's traditional appearance and makes it particularly easy to maintain - as long as you remember to dry and oil the blade regularly.
The 11.9 cm long blade is made from hard 80CrV2 carbon steel at the Laurin Metalli forge in Kauhava. The saber-ground, drop point-shaped blade cuts efficiently and is durable even in demanding tasks. The uncoated blade has a blackened haft after hardening and polished bevels that create a clear contrast. The sharpening angle is 23°, and the structure is full tang-type.
The knife's black TPV handle offers a good grip and sits securely in the hand in all conditions. The rubbery, wear-resistant and weather-resistant material is designed to stay in place even with wet hands.
The composite sheath is durable, MOLLE compatible and equipped with the EasyLock locking mechanism. It holds the knife securely in place, but allows for quick removal. The sheath can be attached to a belt, vest or backpack strap, for example - even upside down. The sheath is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
Compact, reliable and functional – the Finnish Sissipuukko without unnecessary embellishments.
