Excellent value for money ballistic MICH Low Cut helmet manufactured by Danish PGD (Protection Group Danmark). The helmet is made of durable Dupont Kevlar aramid fiber and offers its user NIJ 3A level protection, meaning it stops up to a .44 magnum bullet and offers protection against shrapnel according to STANAG2920 (17 grains @ 680 m/s).
The PGD MICH helmet is largely similar in features to the ARCH, but the helmet's Low Cut cut also offers better protection to the sides of the head. The Low Cut MICH helmet is an ACH helmet (Advanced Combat Helmet), used by the US Army and many other countries' armed and police forces.
The helmet weighs approx. 1500 g (large), but despite its weight, it is comfortable to wear.
The helmet can be easily adjusted to your needs, thanks to the 10 Layer Memory Foam Pads padding system.
The padding pads are attached with Velcro and are easy to move to suitable places, remove for cleaning, or replace with different ones. With these, the helmet molds to the shape of the head in 2-3 seconds and feels light, because it fits tightly on the head without a feeling of tightness. In addition to good wearing comfort, the PGD-10 pad memory foam technology absorbs impact energy and reduces the traumatic effect of impacts.
The helmet has ARC-type accessory rails on the sides. These can be used to attach a variety of equipment and accessories, including earmuff mounts (3m Peltor, Sordin, Ops-core AMP arms, Earmor and Unity Tactical) and a light. The headlamp dock on the head light amplifier accepts all US standard mounting feet as well as headlamp mounts and camera mounts made to the same dimensions. In addition, the helmet has adhesive surfaces all around, where you can attach tags, other badges, small accessories with adhesives or to hold the helmet hood in place.

Low Cut helmet design
The Low Cut design allows for a larger area of ??protection compared to the High Cut design. However, the use of radio and hearing protection is by no means impossible and ultimately not a very unpleasant option compared to many other disadvantages.
Size information
Available in two sizes: Large (54-60 cm head circumference) and X-Large (60+ cm head circumference). The size refers to the size of the helmet shell - the tightness of the circumference is conveniently adjusted by turning the knob at the back of the neck.
