Real Avid Smart-Fit AR15 Vise Block

The Real Avid Smart-Fit AR15 Vise Block is an adjustable lower frame mounting block that provides a stable and immovable base for servicing, cleaning and building your AR15-style weapon. Compared to traditional mounting blocks, the Smart-Fit AR15 Vise Block eliminates wobble caused by tolerance variations: the block's adjustable wedge mechanism expands to precisely fill the magwell, locking the lower frame into a service stand or vise without excess play.

The tool is inserted directly into the magwell and tightened with the adjustment handle. The lower frame can then be secured in a vice or maintenance stand without the frame moving. The sturdy mount makes it easy to clean the receiver, service the gas piston, install the buttstock, remove handguards, and replace other parts.

The included AR15 Pivot Lock raises and locks the upper and lower frames into the open position, allowing hands-free operation for tasks such as cleaning the barrel, chamber, and slide.

Smart-Fit is designed to support gunsmith work, but it is equally useful for home maintenance when you want to securely mount your AR15 without the risk of damaging the frame.
