Safariland's MLS (MOLLE Locking System) fork piece. Can be installed in both MOLLE webbing lanes and MLS dock. So it functions similarly to the later QLS system.
The MLS 16 (6004-16) fork is the other side of the MLS series equipment case mount and the MLS 16 is attached to the gun case with the included screws.
The MLS 16 fits all Safariland cases with two-screw mounting. It does not fit directly into three-screw cases.
