A secure and strong padded two-point harness designed in Finland.
The strap is designed for carrying assault rifles and similar rifles. The padding creates comfort without restricting weapon handling and other activities.
All buckles on the belt are metal and the quick-release buckle allows you to adjust the length of the belt to suit your needs. The belt is made of a standard 25mm wide webbing, which is commonly seen on M05 combat vests.
QUICK ADJUSTMENT BUCKLE
The heart of the Griffin Sling is its special quick-adjust slide buckle. Quick and effortless adjustment allows for easy weapon handling and transitions between shooting positions in all conditions.
We know that the world is full of quick-release buckles, and most of them are really good for what they are designed for.
We ended up making our own model because of these simple requirements:
1) It must be all metal with no moving parts
2) It should be possible to attach a grip loop for use with winter gloves
3) It should have proper side roughness and protrusions
4) And it should be made in Finland.
If you hate the ribbon handle, or just don't need it, you can cut it off.
The properly roughened sides of the buckle and the attachment protrusion of the handle provide an excellent, sturdy grip.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This is a simple two-point strap in all its simplicity. You don't have to play with many different strap ends and buckles, just two.
The 25 mm wide webbing fits most belt loops and various quick release buckles.
1. Open the back strap loop by threading the end of the strap through the steel tri-glide buckle.
Thread the strap through the strap loop or clip and back through the tri-glide buckle. Finally, make a U-turn through the buckle to lock the strap in place.
2. Open the front quick-release loop and remove the steel tri-glide buckle from the strap.
Thread the end of the strap through your front strap mount, attach the tri-glide buckle back to the strap, and loop the end of the strap through the quick-release buckle and back through the tri-glide buckle.
3. Try different adjustment lengths for the front and back. Once you have found the right adjustments, you can fold the excess tape ends into neat bundles and tape them tightly closed.
Or, if you're brave and absolutely sure of your settings, you can also cut and burn the ends of the tapes.
