Shooters Global SG Timer GO Gen2 is a compact and versatile shot timer designed for accurately measuring overall performance time, individual shot times and splits between shots. It is especially well suited for practical shooting, IPSC, SRA and other performance-oriented shooting disciplines as well as dry fire training.

The updated Gen2 version features improved weather protection, enhanced shot detection and three physical control buttons. Essential functions and settings can now be accessed directly from the timer without opening the mobile app first, making operation at the range fast and straightforward.

SG Timer GO uses Shooters Global's Smart Sensor system to accurately detect shots while filtering echoes and shots fired by other shooters. The sensor is designed to work with conventional firearms as well as suppressed firearms and CO2 guns.

During dry fire training, Smart Mode can detect sounds produced by the trigger or firing mechanism. Classic Mode provides traditional training using PAR times.

Sensor sensitivity, volume and start and stop signals can be adjusted to suit different training environments. Presets make frequently repeated drills easier to access. Spy Mode allows multiple timers to be synchronized, while RO Mode is designed specifically for training and competition use.

Advanced training with the Drills app

Bluetooth connectivity allows the SG Timer GO to connect to the Shooters Global Drills app. The app expands the timer from a simple timing device into a much more comprehensive training tool.

Training sessions can be recorded directly through the app with shot times and split times displayed as an overlay on the video. Video recorded with a separate camera can also be synchronized with the timer data. This makes it possible to analyse movement, firearm handling and individual parts of a performance alongside the actual shot times.

Drills also works as a training journal for storing times, shots, hits and videos. Match Mode can be used to manage participants and record results during training sessions or competitions.

SG Timer GO supports PractiScore 2 and IPSC ESS as well as Garmin and Apple Watch smartwatches. Through the Drills app, the start signal can also be transmitted to compatible Bluetooth hearing protection or a smartwatch.

According to the manufacturer, the built-in rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 5000 training sessions on a single charge. Charging is handled through USB-C. Maximum sound output is 99 dB and Bluetooth range is approximately 15 metres.

This version includes both the Quick Release mount and the Pocket Clip, allowing the user to choose the most suitable carrying method.
