Sordin Supreme MIL CC active hearing protectors with microphone

The Sordin Supreme MIL CC is an active hearing protector and communications headset with a fixed downlead for radio connection and a noise-compensating boom microphone. It is designed for military, law enforcement and shooting use when a radio link is needed in addition to hearing protection.

Microphones on the outside of each cup pick up ambient sound, and speakers inside the cups reproduce it in stereo. Speech and commands can be heard and the direction of sounds located without taking the protectors off. Volume is adjusted in five steps, with ambient sound amplified at the two highest steps. Speaker output is limited to 82 dB(A).

The boom microphone is an adjustable, noise-compensating electret microphone that keeps speech clear even in noisy environments. It works best 2–5 mm from the lips, and the windshield reduces wind noise. The fixed downlead ends in a Nexus TP120 connector. A PTT device or adapter compatible with your radio is required for radio use. The slim cups suit both left- and right-handed shooters.
