Backpack:
The material is durable 1000 Denier Cordura. The shoulder straps have quick-release buckles so that the backpack can be taken off / discarded very quickly if necessary, regardless of gun belts or other factors that make it difficult to take off. The straps do not have additional padding, but have been left simple so that they are as little in the way as possible. The excess ends of the shoulder straps are collected in a pile and the shoulder straps can be moved in completely when the hydration pack is attached to a vest, backpack or rucksack. With the QCA system, attachment can be done without external fasteners.
WXP Tank:
Source has not only improved serviceability by enlarging the cap, but has created a completely new WXP container with a Widepac opening, which means the entire bag opens from the top. The Hi-Flow Storm mouthpiece has been turned 90 degrees to allow for a 25 cm shorter hose. The shorter hose is less in the way. The drinking hose is coated with a highly abrasion-resistant coating that insulates the water from the heat of the outside air and blocks UV radiation. The mouthpiece is used by pulling / pushing. Opening is done with the mouth. Advantages compared to a bite-open valve are higher flow, better functionality in frost and leak-proofness when compressed. The mouthpiece is also easy to disassemble, clean and maintain.
