The world's most technically advanced Source WLPS Low Profile Hydration Bladder is a low-profile hydration bladder that has all the same advanced features as previous bladders, but in a flat form. The flatness has been achieved by adding a wall in the middle of the bladder, which prevents the bladder from bulging into a round and high shape. The partition is open from the top and bottom and also prevents water from leaking into the bladder if it has not been properly vented. To optimize the low profile, the filling cap has been omitted and filling is possible from the top seam via the Widepac opening. The low and flat profile of the bladder is a very useful feature when using heavy body armor, which increases the fighter's profile. The flatness also helps to sit in a vehicle, for example, without removing the bladder from the back and allows you to carry a backpack on top of the hydration system. A great advantage of the flat bladder is also in backpacks and knapsacks, where the low-profile bladder does not force the back to curve in the wrong direction but maintains the ergonomic properties of the backpack. The dimensions of the bladder are approximately 36 × 25 × 6.7 cm.

Source has not only improved serviceability by enlarging the cap, but has also created a completely new type of container with the Widepac opening, which means that the entire bag opens from the top. The mouthpiece has been turned 90 degrees to allow for a 25 cm shorter hose. The shorter hose is less in the way. The drinking hose is coated with a highly abrasion-resistant coating that insulates the water from outside heat and blocks UV radiation.

Due to these properties, Source does not have cleaning tablets or other special maintenance tools in its range. All necessary maintenance can be carried out without special tools. Except for the hose, which requires a hose brush.

QMT - Quick Mate Technology: both the hose and the mouthpiece are quick-release. Both locking points are equipped with a check valve, meaning that when the hose or mouthpiece is removed, no water can escape. The removable mouthpiece allows you to quickly change the mouthpiece model according to your needs. The biggest benefit of the removable mouthpiece is when threading the hose into the equipment; often the hose does not fit through the D-rings with the mouthpiece. The feature also allows you to replace the mouthpiece with the separately available UTA adapter (Universal Tap Adaptor), which allows you to fill the bladder directly from a tap or a normal drinking bottle. Removing the mouthpiece also allows you to fill the bladder via the hose directly from another larger bladder (for example, the Aquasource 25L).
