Source Tactical WXP 3L Hydration Bladder - Black

The Source WXP is the world's most technically advanced hydration bladder. Source has not only improved serviceability by enlarging the cap, but has also created a completely new WXP reservoir with the Widepac opening, which means the entire bag opens from the top. The Storm Push-Pull mouthpiece has been turned 90 degrees to allow for a 25 cm shorter hose. The shorter hose is less in the way. The hydration hose is coated with a highly abrasion-resistant coating that insulates the water from outside heat and blocks UV radiation. The hose and valve feature SQC™ Source Quick Connect quick connectors for easy removal and installation.

The mouthpiece is a Storm Push-Pull Valve. The mouthpiece is easy to disassemble, clean and maintain. The Storm mouthpiece is used by pulling/pushing. It is opened with the mouth. The advantages compared to the bite-open valve are higher flow, better functionality in freezing temperatures and leak-proofness when compressed.

The inner surface of the tank is made of a special smooth film, the smoothness of which is the same level as glass. The smoothness of the surface is a very important factor because the growth, which is felt as slime, needs a rough surface to adhere to. When the surface is smooth, adhesion cannot occur and it makes the tank self-cleaning as the change of clean water removes all impurities. The surface also has a Grunge-Guard treatment, which acts as an odor that bacteria avoid, but at the molecular level. Due to these properties, Source does not have cleaning tablets or other special maintenance tools in its range. All necessary maintenance can be carried out without special tools. Except for the hose, which requires a hose brush.
