The Specna Arms Daniel Defense MK18 SA-F19 FLEX™ Gen.2 is an electric (AEG) airsoft carbine based on the M4/M16 platform. It features a programmable HAL™ ETU and a Specna Arms Dark Matter™ High Speed 27-35k brushless motor. Thanks to the Daniel Defense license granted through EMG, the replica carries the authentic markings of the American firearms manufacturer.

The FLEX™ Gen.2 series is designed for players who want a reliable, well-performing replica at a reasonable price. With a nylon receiver, the MK18 weighs 2215 g and measures 690 mm with the stock collapsed, so it is easy to handle in tight spaces.

Æther™ gearbox and internals

The reinforced Æther™ gearbox shell (EU design right 015044865-0001) has a mainspring release function, inspection windows for pre-cocking, AoE and gear shimming, a reinforced front section, trigger adjustment and screw holes for precise shell alignment. It is designed to handle springs up to M140. Inside are 8 mm bushings, steel gears and a polycarbonate piston with a full steel tooth rack. The ESA™ system lets you change the spring without disassembling the whole gearbox, making it easy to adjust muzzle energy to game rules.

Dark Matter™ BLDC brushless motor

A brushless motor has no carbon brushes, so there is no brush sparking or brush wear. The motor is energy efficient, generates less heat and gives a fast trigger response. With a properly configured drivetrain it can also drive stronger springs.
