Specna Arms MP41 Retro X-ASR AEG

The MP41 was developed by C.G. Haenel as an evolution of the well-known MP40 submachine gun. Unlike the MP40, which is often incorrectly referred to as the "Schmeisser", the MP41 was actually designed by Hugo Schmeisser. The weapon combined the operating system of the MP40 with the wooden stock and trigger mechanism of the MP28. The MP41 saw service with police forces, Waffen-SS units, the armed forces of Germany's allied nations, as well as in various guard and security roles.

The Specna Arms MP41 Retro X-ASR AEG is an airsoft replica of this less common Second World War submachine gun. Its combination of metal and genuine wood, together with its faithful reproduction of the original design, makes it an excellent choice for historical enthusiasts, re-enactments and WWII-themed airsoft games.

The replica is constructed from steel, aluminium and wood. Steel components include the outer barrel, magazine well, bolt cover, front sight and magazine. The charging handle, butt plate and trigger guard are made from aluminium, while the stock and lower receiver are crafted from genuine wood.

The replica offers both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. Fire mode is selected by moving the charging handle forwards or backwards, replicating the operating principle of the original firearm.

Internally, the replica features a Version 7 gearbox, GATE X-ASR MOSFET and an adjustable Hop-Up unit. The MOSFET protects the electrical system, improves trigger response and extends the service life of both the battery and internal electronics. Integrated LED diagnostics also make it easier to identify basic electrical faults.

The included 120-round Mid-Cap magazine provides realistic capacity without the rattling associated with Hi-Cap magazines. A muzzle velocity of approximately 113 m/s (370 FPS with 0.20 g BBs) makes the replica suitable for most airsoft fields, while its authentic construction makes it an excellent choice for historical-themed airsoft games.
