Specna Arms MP44/StG44 Retro X-ASR AEG

The MP44, later designated the StG44 (Sturmgewehr 44), was the world's first assault rifle to see large-scale military service. Developed for the German armed forces during the Second World War, it combined the firepower of a submachine gun with the range of a rifle by using the new 7.92×33 mm Kurz intermediate cartridge. The MP44/StG44 had a significant influence on the development of later assault rifles, and its impact on designs such as Mikhail Kalashnikov's AK-47 continues to be discussed today.

The Specna Arms MP44/StG44 Retro X-ASR AEG is an airsoft replica of this historic assault rifle. Its metal construction, genuine wooden stock and faithful reproduction of the original design make it an excellent choice for historical enthusiasts, re-enactments and WWII-themed airsoft games.

The replica is constructed from aluminium, steel, polymer and wood. Metal components include the outer barrel, muzzle device, receiver, iron sights, magazine well, magazine, fire selector and charging handle. The fixed wooden stock features a sling slot for attaching a carrying strap.

Internally, the replica features a special gearbox, GATE X-ASR MOSFET and an adjustable Hop-Up unit. The MOSFET protects the electrical system, improves trigger response and extends the service life of both the battery and internal electronics. Integrated LED diagnostics also make it easier to identify basic electrical faults.

The included 190-round Mid-Cap magazine provides realistic capacity without the rattling associated with Hi-Cap magazines. A muzzle velocity of approximately 110 m/s (360 FPS with 0.20 g BBs) makes the replica suitable for most airsoft fields, while its authentic construction makes it an excellent choice for historical-themed airsoft games.
