Specna Arms SA-CH29 CORE Gen.2 HAL ETU AEG Rifle

The Specna Arms SA-CH29 is part of the CORE Gen.2 series, designed to combine lightweight construction, modern electronics, and solid performance at an attractive price point. The CORE Gen.2 lineup incorporates technologies developed for higher-end Specna Arms platforms, including the Magnus™ TDC hop-up chamber, Aether™ Gearbox, and HAL ETU™ electronic control unit.

The SA-CH29 is based on the HK416 platform, known for its robust design and distinctive appearance compared to standard AR15-style rifles. Its compact configuration makes it an excellent choice for dynamic gameplay, CQB environments, and general-purpose airsoft use.

The rifle is primarily constructed from nylon fiber-reinforced polymer, providing excellent durability while keeping overall weight low. Metal components include the outer barrel, RIS handguard, flash hider, enlarged charging handle, sights, and sling attachment points. The receiver is tightly fitted, with minimal play between components.

The rifle utilizes the Magnus™ TDC hop-up chamber together with a Helium™ Flat Hop bucking. This combination provides precise and consistent hop-up adjustment, helping to maintain stable BB flight and reliable accuracy.

At the heart of the rifle is the Aether™ Gearbox, featuring a reinforced shell, spring release function, pre-cocking and AoE inspection windows, and an adjustable trigger system. The ESA™ quick spring change system allows rapid power adjustment without disassembling the gearbox.

Electronics are handled by the HAL ETU™ system, which uses Hall-effect sensor trigger detection. The system offers adjustable trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, active braking, binary trigger functionality, and programmable fire modes. HAL ETU™ is also compatible with brushless motors.

The rifle uses a stick-type battery with a Deans (T-plug) connector, installed inside the buffer tube.
