Specna Arms SA-F03 FLEX Gen.2 BLDC HAL ETU AEG Rifle

The Specna Arms SA-F03 is part of the FLEX Gen.2 BLDC series, combining lightweight construction, modern features, and the performance benefits of a brushless motor at an attractive price point. The FLEX Gen.2 BLDC lineup incorporates technologies developed for higher-end Specna Arms models, including the Magnus™ TDC hop-up chamber, Aether™ Gearbox, HAL ETU™ control unit, and the Dark Matter™ BLDC brushless motor.

The SA-F03 is based on a compact AR15 carbine platform, making it an excellent choice for CQB environments, vehicle-based scenarios, and fast-paced gameplay. The M-LOK handguard provides mounting space for accessories, while the top Picatinny rail and flip-up sights allow the installation of a wide range of optics and sighting systems. Ambidextrous controls and a functional bolt catch further enhance handling and usability during gameplay.

The rifle is primarily constructed from nylon fiber-reinforced polymer, providing excellent durability while keeping overall weight low. High-stress components such as the outer barrel, flash hider, selector switch, charging handle, magazine release, and mock ejection port cover are made from metal. The Light Ops Stock completes the package with a lightweight design and non-slip rubberized contact surfaces.

One of the standout features of this FLEX Gen.2 BLDC rifle is the Specna Arms Dark Matter™ High Speed BLDC brushless motor. Compared to traditional brushed motors, a brushless motor offers faster trigger response, higher efficiency, reduced heat generation, quieter operation, and a longer service life. The motor also delivers high torque from low RPMs and is capable of handling stronger springs without significant performance loss.

At the heart of the rifle is the Aether™ Gearbox, featuring a reinforced shell, spring release function, pre-cocking and AoE inspection windows, and an adjustable trigger system. Internal components include steel gears, a full steel-tooth polycarbonate piston, 8 mm bushings, and a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel.

Electronics are handled by the HAL ETU™ system, which uses Hall-effect sensor trigger detection. The system offers adjustable trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, active braking, binary trigger functionality, and programmable fire modes. HAL ETU™ is also compatible with brushless motors.

The rifle uses a stick-type battery with a Deans (T-plug) connector, installed inside the buffer tube.
